Kitchen is a place which every woman wants to be perfect. In fact, that's a room which most of the people want to see first. One of the most effective ways to change the impression in the old or obsolete kitchen, is to change cabinetry. New counter tops, appliances, hardwood floors or tile is a good addition, but that's a big hole in a budget and deserves a careful consideration. And of course it is a time and money consuming process. But if you want to change kitchen to modern and neat appearance and save some money, we would recommend to paint or repaint cabinets, put new cabinet door handles and cabinet hitches (brushed nickel works the best). We have enough experience in painting new (hard wood, plywood, MDF) cabinetry, and in repainting very old cabinetry with the impressive results. We developed a process, which allows us to fix and repaint cabinets with deep cracks, water or fire damage and rough texture (oak finish) with barely distinguishable results from new cabinets. We can say from our experience, that cabinetry painting charges in most cases are around 15-20%, from what you would pay for the new cabinets.
